Some advantages of indoor current transformers

       The secondary side of a current transformer must never be open-circuited during operation. When the secondary side of a current transformer is open-circuited, the entire primary current is used for magnetization. The secondary winding induces a dangerously high voltage, which can reach several kilovolts or even higher, seriously threatening personnel and equipment. Therefore, the secondary circuit of the current transformer must not be open-circuited during operation, and the wiring must be secure and no fuses should be installed.
